Tiffany Lanette Wellness has partnered with It Takes A Village Wellness Center Inc. to present Beautiful Stages: Wellness Support for Black Mothers, and we are currently enrolling eligible Mothers into our 2023 Cohort. Through this process, we hope to empower Women in our community to be seen and heard in ways they possibly never have before, to learn how to project the way they want to be seen and heard by others, and to create new healthy thought patterns and behaviors that impact both professional and personal life as they become advocates for Black Women, Our Community and African American Infant and Maternal Mortality Prevention.

Over the course of  2023, we aim to support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of 8 African American families (Mothers, their Birthing Partners and family/children) in Los Angeles County. We will offer monthly respite support services that relieve and/or mitigate stress on mom, baby and family as well as foster a positive sense of self. Our respite services will utilize a holistic approach to health, including mindfulness, meditation, prenatal yoga, and nutrition education to encourage healthy living and align the mind, body, and spirit. There is evidence that caregivers who take a break from the associated stresses can help prevent incidents of neglect or abuse.
